Lorde is going home a multiple-winner after Sunday night's Billboard Music Awards.  The 17-year-old joked about her age while on hand at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas to pick up the awards for Best New Artist and Best Rock Song for "Royals."

Lorde performed her latest single "Tennis Court," joining some of the year's top acts on the award show's line-up.

Justin Timberlake also was a big winner, picking up the honor of Top Artist.  Abroad on his "20/20 Experience" tour, Justin accepted with a video and got a reaction from the audience with a jab at controversial L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling.

He wasn't the only star who couldn't make it the ceremony.  Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry both accepted awards and performed remotely from their respective tours traveling through Europe.  Miley covered Beatles classic "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" with Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne, and Katy performed "Birthday" from her "Prismatic" tour.

Special tributes went to Jennifer Lopez who won this year's "Icon" award and the late King of Pop Michael Jackson who was remembered with a performance by hologram.

Other stars to take the stage were Robin Thicke, who seemed to be making a play to save his marriage with Paula Patton, with the debut of a new song called "Get Her Back."

In case you missed his performance, check out the iHeartRadio world premiere of "Get Her Back" below!

Ariana Grande performed her new single "Problem," Ricky Martin took the stage, and Australian boy band Five Seconds of Summer also rocked the house after a flubbed introduction from Kendall Jenner.
